Cancer of ovary - the facts to be aware of

The main cause of death by genital malignant tumors of women is ovarian cancer. Represents almost 4% of all cancer deaths in women but not the highest incidence among reproductive tumors. There are clinical manifestations of ovarian cancer. It's increased frequency and urgency, urinary, pleural effusion in abdominal girth, weight loss, accompanied by malnutrition, ascites associated with Dyspnea (shortness of breath), pain caused by pressure from the growing tumor and also of the effects of intestinal obstruction, constipation and, above all general pain. As we all know, the pain is subjective. This means that when the person says that they are suffering pain is what are their experiences and should be addressed.

Indicators usually appear only when the cancer is already established though sometimes not until that already has been extended. Malignancy in an earlier stage, is sometimes diagnosed although most affected persons may eventually have terminal cancer due to late diagnosis for the reason that is asymptomatic.
